Regulations of the Greypet Blog and Adoption Portal of October 1, 2018

Blog Regulations for the Greypet.com Adoption Portal

These Regulations set out the terms of cooperation between the Users of the Blog and Adoption Portal and the Administrator of the Blog and Adoption Portal Greypet.com.

 

§1 Definitions

 

Administrator – The Administrator of the Blog and the Greypet.com Adoption Portal is Absolutico spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, with its registered office in Bielsko-Biała, ul. Górska 73, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court in Bielsko-Biała, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS No. 0000544072, NIP (Tax ID) 5472153073, REGON 360802670; e-mail: [info@greypet.com](mailto:info@greypet.com) (hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider”).

 

  • User – Users are persons who browse or contribute content to the Blog and the Adoption Portal. They wish to support adoption processes and educate the public on caring for the physical and mental well-being of animals. Users include Greypet ambassadors, volunteers, employees of adoption centres, persons looking for an animal to adopt and readers of the Blog.
  • Content Author – Content Authors are persons who write articles published on the Blog.
  • Adoption Centre – A place where animals that can be adopted are kept.
  • Blog – The Service Provider’s website available under the domain /pl/blog.
  • Adoption Portal – The Service Provider’s website available under the domain /pl/page/znajdz-zwierzaka-1.
  • Newsletter – An electronic distribution service provided by the Service Provider via e-mail, which enables all Service Recipients using it to automatically receive subsequent editions of a newsletter containing information from the Blog and the Adoption Portal.
  • Portal Regulations – These regulations of the Blog and the Adoption Portal.

 

§2 Blog and Adoption Portal

 

1. The purpose of the Blog and the Adoption Portal is to educate the public broadly on animal protection and to provide interested persons with a search tool containing the largest possible number of animals available for adoption.

2. The Blog supports initiatives aimed at promoting the adoption of animals staying in Adoption Centres, by educating the public about animal rights and supporting adoption processes through connecting interested persons with Adoption Centres.

3. The Blog is continuously expanded with information on animal adoption, animal health, proper nutrition and care. The Blog also publishes legal provisions concerning animal rights and related obligations, as well as advice and interviews with animal guardians.

4. The search tool available on the Blog is intended to help find animals that match the expectations of the interested person and to provide them with key information about the animal.

 

§3 User

 

1. The Administrator provides interested persons with materials on the technology and rules for delivering and uploading photos, content and videos to the Adoption Portal /pl/page/znajdz-zwierzaka-1 (hereinafter: the “Adoption Portal”).

2. Data concerning animals available for adoption are completed by Users. The Administrator is not responsible for the accuracy, timeliness or content of the information posted on the animals’ profiles.

3. Users who add animals for adoption undertake to keep their data up to date and to change the status if it changes (adopted, crossed the Rainbow Bridge).

4. Provided there are no objections (technical or substantive), the Administrator undertakes to place content, photos and videos of animals for adoption on the Adoption Portal.

5. The Administrator reserves the right to block access to the administration panel of any person who breaches these Regulations, applicable law or good morals, or acts to the detriment of animals or third parties.

6. The Administrator does not sign adoption agreements and therefore bears no responsibility for the completion of adoption processes nor for the conduct of persons adopting animals from Adoption Centres.

7. Use of the Newsletter is possible after entering, in the “Newsletter” section visible on the Blog, the e-mail address to which subsequent editions of the Newsletter are to be sent and clicking the “Notify” field. The Newsletter service may also be ordered by ticking the appropriate checkbox when creating an Account or placing an Order – upon creation of the Account or placing the Order, the Service Recipient becomes a Newsletter subscriber.

8. The Account and the Newsletter are provided for an indefinite period.

 

§4 Content Author

 

1. Content Authors publishing on the Blog declare that they hold full copyright and related rights to the texts, photos and videos they submit.

2. The decision whether to publish an article on the Blog lies with the Administrator. The Administrator reserves the right to refuse publication of materials that are not consistent with the mission of Greypet.com or that in any way infringe the rights of third parties.

3. The Administrator reserves the right to edit content (correction of syntactic, spelling and punctuation errors) and to change titles and headings.

4. The Administrator decides when submitted content will be published.

5. Published content is signed with the author’s first name and surname or pseudonym.

 

 

§5 User’s Personal Data

 

1. The controller of personal data processed within the Online Store is Absolutico Spółka z o.o., with its registered office in Bielsko-Biała, ul. Górska 73, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court in Bielsko-Biała, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS No. 0000544072, NIP 5472153073, REGON 360802670.

2. The Client’s personal data will be processed by the Service Provider in compliance with the security requirements laid down in the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000), the Act of 18 July 2002 on Rendering Electronic Services (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 144, item 1204, as amended) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

3. When placing an order, the Client consents to the processing of their personal data for the purpose of fulfilling the Client’s order. Consent is given by ticking the appropriate checkbox by the Client.

4. Providing personal data is voluntary. The Client has the right to access their data, to rectify them, and to request that their data no longer be used, be anonymised or be deleted.

5. Personal data provided by Clients during registration are processed by the Service Provider exclusively for the purpose of order fulfilment, Account maintenance, including issuing invoices, and – depending on the Client’s decision – may also be processed for marketing purposes and for receiving commercial information, based on a separate consent given in this respect.

6. Detailed rules on the protection of personal data related to placing an order, as well as using the Online Store before and after placing an order, are set out in the Privacy Policy, which constitutes an annex to these Regulations and forms an integral part hereof.

 

§6 Final Provisions

 

1. The parties act on the basis of diligent cooperation.

2. If no separate agreement has been signed, neither party anticipates any remuneration in connection with the provision of texts, photos and videos published on the Blog and the Adoption Portal.

3. The User is obliged to use the Blog and the Adoption Portal in a manner compliant with the law and good morals, having regard for the protection of personal rights and copyright and intellectual property rights of third parties.

4. Users and Content Authors are prohibited from interfering with content on the Blog and the Adoption Portal for which they are not the authors.

5. Users and Content Authors are prohibited from providing unlawful content and from using the Blog and the Adoption Portal for purposes other than those for which they are intended.

6. The technical requirements necessary to cooperate with the ICT system used by the Service Provider are as follows:

   a) a computer, laptop or other multimedia device with Internet access;

   b) access to e-mail;

   c) an Internet browser: Mozilla Firefox version 11.0 or higher, Internet Explorer version 7.0 or higher, Opera version 7.0 or higher, Google Chrome version 12.0.0 or higher;

   d) recommended screen resolution: 1024x768;

   e) enabling the storage of cookies and JavaScript support in the Internet browser.
