Els animals de companyia són la nostra responsabilitat. Malauradament no tothom ho entén així i per això hi ha tants animals rodamóns abandonats pels carrers... només a Catalunya s'abandonen a l'any l'esgarrifosa xifra de 22.800 animals entre gossos i gats amb conseqüències molt greus no només per l’animal (desnutrició, malalties accidents, traumes psicològics, etc.) sinó que també es reflecteix a la societat a través dels accidents de trànsit, perill d’atacs entre animals o amb persones, brutícia als carrers, etc.
