Adoption was simple – a kind woman came to Dagmara’s home to explain what it would involve. The next day, she visited Bruno at his foster home.

One look. That’s all it took.

It was love at first sight – she couldn’t take her eyes off him.

Two days later, Bruno was already curled up beside her… sleeping at home.

From the very beginning, Bruno adapted with grace.

He didn’t need time – he just belonged. And on that first day, he stole their hearts for good.

Bruno is Dagmara’s second adopted dog.

As a child, she begged her parents to adopt instead of buying from a breeder – even then, she knew:

“There are too many dogs in the world who need our help.”

They welcomed a German Shepherd into their home. Years of love followed, and now that beloved soul watches over them from the other side of the rainbow bridge.

Today, Bruno is joyful, lively, loving.

A few weeks ago, Dagmara discovered a lump on Bruno’s leg.

It turned out to be malignant cancer.

He’s had surgery. He’s healing. But life – which had already hurt him once – brought more pain.

And yet… Bruno remains brave. Kind. Trusting.

They give him vitamins. They shower him with love.

They treat him, cuddle him, and comfort him every day.

Giving him up? It never even crossed their minds.
